“Closely Watched Trains” directed by the acclaimed Czech filmmaker Jiří Menzel made a deep impression on Shivendra when he was a student at the FTII (Pune).
Years later, Shivendra realized a dream. After almost a year of telephone calls and emails, Shivendra managed to convince Jiří Menzel to meet him in a café in Prague on October 19, 2010.
And so began a conversation and a friendship that has given birth to a film that is close to completion.
